When you’re ‘falling back’ and changing your batteries, don’t forget about your annual furnace tune-up!
Every fall we are reminded of the life-saving habit of changing and testing the batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The reminders typically come when there is a fire that could have been prevented, or when daylight savings time approaches. This year, Daylight savings time is November 5.
Along with changing your batteries, homeowners should also have their furnace checked and tuned-up. A Stramowski furnace “tune up” is more than simply changing the filters, it’s a multi-point examination of all critical components of your HVAC system. You’ll have the peace of mind that your furnace is in tip top shape and it’s operating safely for when the temperatures drop.
So change your smoke detector batteries on November 5th, but get your furnace tuned up in October. Call Stramowski at 414-762-6457 or email us to schedule your furnace tune-up.
